📝 User Accounts

3.1 Account Creation

🚫 Prohibited Activities

When using Bangladesh.chat.org.in, you agree NOT to:

• Engage in fraud, money laundering, or terrorist financing
• Distribute malware, viruses, or malicious code
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts

4.2 Harmful Content

• Post content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, or obscene
• Share sexually explicit content or engage in sexual harassment
• Promote violence, terrorism, or self-harm
• Distribute child exploitation material (we report all such activity to authorities)
• Share private information of others without consent (doxing)

4.3 Spam and Abuse

• Send unsolicited messages or spam to other users
• Use automated systems (bots) without authorization
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
• Impersonate other users, moderators, or Bangladesh.chat.org.in staff
• Engage in excessive use of capital letters (shouting)

4.4 Commercial Activities

• Advertise products or services without permission
• Solicit money from other users
• Promote pyramid schemes or multi-level marketing
• Use the platform for commercial data mining

💬 Content Guidelines

5.1 User Content

You retain ownership of any content you submit, post, or display on the Service. By submitting content, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, and display such content for the purpose of operating and improving the Service.

5.2 Content Monitoring

While we do not pre-screen content, we have the right (but not obligation) to:

• Monitor all user-generated content
• Remove content that violates these terms
• Report illegal activities to appropriate authorities
• Cooperate with law enforcement investigations

5.3 Intellectual Property

6.2 Appeals

If you believe your account was suspended in error, you may appeal by contacting support@bangladesh.chat.org.in within 30 days of the action. Include your username, date of incident, and explanation.

6.3 User Reporting

Users are encouraged to report violations using the in-chat report feature or by contacting moderators. False reporting may result in account penalties.

⚠️ Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to:

• Implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose
• Non-infringement of intellectual property rights
• Accuracy, reliability, or completeness of content
• Uninterrupted or error-free service
• Security of user data (though we implement reasonable safeguards)

💰 Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Bangladesh.chat.org.in and its affiliates shall not be liable for:

• Indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
• Loss of profits, data, or goodwill
• Service interruptions or data loss
• Unauthorized access to your account or data
• Content posted by other users
• Any damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us (if any) in the past 12 months, or $100 USD, whichever is greater.

⚖️ Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Bangladesh, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any legal action arising from these terms shall be filed in the courts of Dhaka, Bangladesh.

For international users, you agree to submit to the personal jurisdiction of courts in Bangladesh for the purpose of litigating all such claims.

🔄 Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.
